The closet in our basement bedroom has been wet off and one for the past couple of months in the one corner. It is NOT along an exterior wall. Originally we suspected that it may be from a leak in a pipe above the closet in the ceiling, but after going through the process of elimination, it seems like the water is coming from the floor onto the bottom plate of the wall. This is our second year in the house, and as far as we know this didn't happen last winter. The house was built in 2012, but the basement was developed more recently than that.
